A lot of laughs, a lot of stress, a lot of arguments, a lot of work.
A lot of work.
But we never saw this coming. How could we have? When we started, nothing like what CT has become existed. and there still isn’t any law firm like us. Not in Michigan. Not Anywhere.
19 years of almost continuous growth and expansion. Sometimes it came to us. Sometimes we went out and looked for it.
Why us? Why so fast? Everyone has their theories. Nobody knows. Probably a combination of great legal work, awesome peoples and timely decisions.
That and luck.
But here we are now. The largest and most influential elder law and estate planning firm in Michigan. That not bragging. That’s just how it is.
COVID put on on pause. Gave us a chance to reflect and to ask ourselves: Where do we go from here? And, what would “better” look like?
Great legal work, we have that. Can it be even greater?
As lawyers and as employers, are we the model of empathy and understanding that we would like to be?
And what about diversity and inclusion? How do we do more? Be better?
We have reflected on those ideas and have had those conversations.
We have work to do.
We embrace this moment. We embrace our place in the landscape of Michigan law firms. Our place in elder law and estate planning. Our place in Michigan. We are grateful for this opportunity to become better
