Carmencita Q. Fulgado-Taylor focuses her practice in the areas of special needs planning, elder law, and estate planning. Carmencita has experience in probate litigation and handling guardianship and conservatorship matters. She graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. She also has her M.A. and B.A. in English and is a cum laude graduate of St. John’s University. Carmencita is admitted to the state bars of New York and Michigan.
In 2017, Carmencita became a board member of the Jackson Area Estate Planning Council. She is a member of both the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section of the State Bar and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar.
Carmencita was born and raised in Queens, New York. Prior to moving to Michigan, Carmencita was a Staff Attorney at Brooklyn Housing and Family Services in New York, a non-profit organization committed to protecting families and preventing homelessness.
Carmencita enjoys running and has ran the New York City Marathon three times. She, her husband and son enjoy spending time together, especially outdoors.
